Skin Contour

Fractional Co2 Laser (Fraxel)

Fractional laser works on the science of fractional photothermolysis, which basically means that it treats tiny, microscopic amounts of skin with each unique pulse, leaving the surrounding area intact to influence the treated area to naturally heal faster.

Fractional laser skin treatments have three significant benefits as compared to traditional laser skin treatments:

Increased Comfort – The fractional array of microbeams does not cause bulk damage as traditional ablative treatments do but instead cause small areas of damage each surrounded by undamaged tissue.
As a result, fractional treatments are a much gentler laser treatment option.

Increased Safety – Following a fractional ablative procedure, each tiny fractional column re-epithelializes (i.e., regrows the missing tissue and closes over) typically within one day.
This minimizes the risk of scarring, infection, or long-term pigmentation changes.

Decreased Downtime – Depending on the type of procedure, most fractional patients can return to normal daily activities almost immediately (for fractional non-ablative treatments) or typically within 4 days (for fractional ablative treatments).

Price: $250 to $500

Ultrapulse Co2 Laser

The UltraPulse produces pulses of laser light, rather than a continuous beam. Because the ultrapulse laser beam is very fine it has been shown to lessen the risk of scarring and most people do not feel anything. This laser is effective for skin tags, warts, millis, sebaceous hyperplasia and epidermal brown spots.

Mole Removal Cost : $70 to $350

Erbium glass laser (Sellas)

What is it and how does it help?

If you’ve got problem skin, SELLAS resurfacing might be the answer. Particularly effective in healing scars, the procedure also refines skin complexion by reducing pore-size and uneven skin colouring. It works well for all skin types, including dark skin or sensitive skin that marks easily. It’s ideally suited for the face, neck, décolletage and back of hands.

How does it work?

Able to be tailored to the particular problem, SELLAS resurfacing involves a gentle but deeply penetrating laser that directs micro-columns of infra-red light to heat skin tissue. A computer-guided scanner accurately fixes the laser parameters – such as depth, rate and scan pattern – giving a precise and uniform effect on the skin. This stimulates a regenerative response in the skin to produce clearer, more vibrant and healthier looking skin.

How is SELLAS different from Profractional/ Fractional CO2 resurfacing?

All these procedures use state-of-the-art fractional technology to get the most out of the cosmetic benefits of laser skin resurfacing, while keeping the side-effects and recovery time to a minimum.
Sellas uses non-ablative (minimally invasive) laser light to treat the skin which allows for a rapid recovery time. The non-ablative laser beams are delivered as individual columns in a polka dot fashion. The advantage is the reduced downtime as adjacent normal tissue can assist with more rapid healing. These multiple columns of laser beam can be varied in width, depth and density for a treatment program that is just right for you. Profractional/ Fractional CO2 resurfacing delivers fractional lasering in a similar way, but is an ablative laser (moderately invasive) with greater intensity, and tends to have a longer recovery time. Many patients benefit most from a combination of the different fractional lasers that are available in the practice.
Your doctor will advise you on the best resurfacing method for your skin.

Is everyone suitable for SELLAS?

We do not treat:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Children under the age of 18 without parental consent
  • Current significant skin disease/ infections such as cold sores at the site of treatment
  • Patients with (darker) skin types 5-6 are at greater risk of post-treatment pigmentation
  • History of keloid scarring (special precaution in high risk areas)
  • Any emotional, mental or medical condition that may impair judgement

LDM

Sono Effect ultrasound treatment for tightening, acne, etc

For a beautiful skin appearance

Skin rejuvenation using equipment-based techniques is very popular, because professional equipment can generally produce more effective therapy results which, most importantly, can be seen quickly.

The LDM®-Sonoskin with its two innovative ultrasound technologies is the basic machine in the LDM® range of equipment from Wellcomet® and was developed specially for cosmetic applications.

The machine has a clear, easy-to-use choice of programs ranging from wrinkle treatment through to various body applications. The LDM®-Sonoskin thus covers a broad spectrum of indications and allows the user to work rapidly and effectively with a number of different aesthetic indications.

Some applications:
  • Wrinkle treatment
  • Wrinkle reduction
  • Skin rejuvenation
  • Acne
  • Hypertrophic scars/keloids
  • Acne scars
  • Pre- and post-liposuction treatments
  • Stretch marks
  • Cellulite
  • Sonophoresis
What effect does LDM®-Sonoskin have on tissue?

One of the most important requirements for a beautiful, healthy skin appearance is the balance between the build-up and breakdown of the connective tissue. As skin ages or if it suffers from problems such as acne, this balance is generally disrupted and has to be re-regulated.

While conventional ultrasound systems only use standard frequency settings of 1 and 3 MHz for this, with the LDM®-Sonoskin, the unique dual-frequency ultrasound known as LDM®(Local Dynamic Micromassage) and the integrated 10 MHz ultrasound wave are applied.

LDM® technology combines two ultrasound waves with different frequencies into one unique "hybrid wave", thus creating special pressure gradients in the tissue. In this way, the production of collagen and elastin can be specifically influenced and the state of balance in the tissue improved.

The advantage of 10 MHz ultrasound waves lies in the fact that their strong effect is concentrated mainly on the surface layers of skin such as the epidermis and dermis. Because the half value depth of this frequency is just 0.3 cm, it is particularly suitable, for example, for treatment of the facial skin.

The LDM®-Sonoskin often produces a positive "wow effect" straight after one application. For even better results, the LDM®-Sonoskin can be used in combination with other machines/methods. The machine is already used successfully in many institutes for treatment before and after plastic surgery.

The LDM technology is a new, clinical anti-aging method, which improves skin sustainable. Local Dynamic micro-massage works deep into the skin and plumps up wrinkles quickly visible - without injection! The ultrasonic treatment with LDM helps successful in mitigating the effects of wrinkles, to tighten connective tissue, before and after surgery and achieved a lifting effect without surgery.
Some of the positive effects of ultrasound on the fabric are Promotion of the removal of metabolic products; Promoting blood circulation; Activation of the lymphatic transport; Activation of collagen and Massage of the tissue from the inside.

Fractional RF (Micro-Needle)

The system consists of a Fractional RF Micro-needle array that assists in reinvigorating the skin and can aid with things like face lifts, acne, acne scarring and large pores through variable intensity treatment on differing skin depths.
The fractional RF micro-needling technology is an innovative design that uniquely treats the target area through rapid penetration of specially designed insulated micro-needles without causing extensive damage to the epidermis. Through the action of the micro-needles, a tiny column is created that facilitates healing and brings about a growth factor that develops the mechanism of natural recovery with the effect being similar to that of peeling, but with minimal impact on the epidermis.

At the same time it emits a high-tensioned RF (Radio Frequency) pulse onto the target area inside the skin. The fractional RF thermolysis is applied directly to this area and selectively degenerates the collagen fibers between the superficial dermis and muscle band, resulting in the fibers immediately dwindling and thus promoting the construction of new collagen through a stimulus of the fibroblasts.

Advantage of Fractional RF

  • Lesions can be selectively treated according to the length of Needle.
  • There is no side effect in Epidermis because of the Insulation Needle.
  • Down time is short.
  • Mechanical stimulation can be done at the same time.
  • After the medical procedure, there is no scab.
  • There is no effect caused by skin tone.
  • It's useful to treat deep scar.
  • There is less pain.
  • Heating control is easy.
